Legendary Queensbridge producer Marley Marl and ‘Juice Crew’ member Craig G are going back in time to release a new album entitled ‘Operation: Take Back Hip-Hop’. The album will be released this spring on Philly’s ‘Good Hand Records’.
Last year, KRS-One and Marley Marl teamed up on their album ‘Hip-Hop Lives’, 20 years after the Boggie Down Productions and Juice Crew beef.

Heres what Craig G said on the album.
“Marley and I are trying to make change through music. This is my passion, this is what raised me, and I refuse to stand by and watch my culture get destroyed any further with poor quality music.”
Producer Marl will be producing most the album and will feature Sadat X, Brooklyn’s Talib Kweli and KRS-One.
Marley’s message was “True Hip Hop fans stand up, Operation: Take Back Hip-Hop is what you’ve been waiting for.”
