Big Daddy Kane (real name: Antonio Hardy) a rapper from Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn was influencial in helping both Jay-Z and Biggie Smalls. Kane was part of the Juice Crew.
Kane has worked with artists like Tupac Shakur, Jay-Z, Big L, Patti Le Belle, Public Enemy and Barry White.
His debut album ‘Long Live Kane’, which ‘Aint No Half Steppin’ is from was heavily sampled by later artists.
