May 12th, 2008 · No Comments

An iconic reggae producer and vocalist, Horace Andy, is back with a new album entitled ‘On Tour’.

Horace Andy (born Horace Hinds)  is undeniably one of Jamaica’s most distinguished and beloved vocalist who’s blessed with one of the most distinctive voices in music.

He’s worked with for classic reggae producers including Phil Pratt, Price Jammy and King Tubby (’Fittest Of The Fittest’).

His earliest recordings were in Jamaica in the late 1960s, where ”Got to Be Sure,” was the song that was cut as the singer’s debut single and following after it was “Skylarking,” which sealed his stardom, rocketing to the top of the Jamaican chart. From that point on, the hits have kept on coming.

Now in 2008, the legend is releasing his latest album ‘On Tour’ on Trojan Records. ‘On Tour’ takes us on a journey through his last year on the road. It also showcases Horace’s exceptional skills as a vocalist and a producer.

Like a true musical artist, Andy has not only produced the whole record but also plays almost all the instruments on it.
