Growing up in Florida, 2 Pistols promoted hip-hop parties and concerts in the Tampa Bay Area. A self-proclaimed hustler, 2 Pistol’s subject matter deals with his history as a drug dealer and the daily struggle of street life. He started his career when his brother encouraged him to record a song for fun that he had written. He pressed up a few copies and gave them to friends. Next thing he knew, a few weeks later at a local nightclub he heard the DJ spinning his song and his music career was officially in motion. In 2007 2 Pistols signed to Universal Motown Records Group
