He’s a legend in Hip Hop. With 12 studio albums to his name and 20 years experience in the industry, LL Cool J is set to release his first mixtape (The Return Of The G.O.A.T.), in the coming weeks.

The Return Of The G.O.A.T. will be hosted by DJ Kay Slay and will feature guest spots from artists like Busta Rhymes.

Kay Slay told MTV:  

“Anybody that’s featured on the mixtape has to be on a classic LL beat … “LL’s got an album coming out …“I think he’s just aware that he has to have that street presence and make people aware he still is the G.O.A.T. and he can still spit. A lot of people are under the misconception that LL is making those grown-and-sexy records, that he ain’t with the street vibe anymore. I think he wanted to step back and let people know he’s still the G.O.A.T.”

Seriously, LL aint lost a step. But then again, a legend will never lose that skill. A soccer player once said, form is temporary, class is permanant and we all have to remember that with all the legends of Hip Hop. With over 20 years in the game and still being relevant and being able to have hit shows and movies, LL is a legend in his own right.
