50 Cent has told MTV that before 2008 is out, he will sell a million copies in a week. Hip Hop saw Lil Wayne’s Carter III album sell a million copies in a week and in a climate where record sales down, it gives hope to artists that it can still be done.

Now 50 Cent has come out and said he will sell a millie and confirmed that he next album ‘Before I Self Destruct’ will be released in the fourth quarter.

“I want to focus on the positive, and I feel I’m one of the more vocal people in hip-hop … “Even when it’s not about music, people pay attention to me, because I have something to offer. I’ll continue to create quality music at a pace they haven’t seen.”
