One of The Hip Hop Chronicle’s famous readers, The Game has revealed he has recieved a number of TV and radio roles after announcing his retirement.
The West Coast rapper who insists that his upcoming album ‘L.A.X. (in stores Aug 26th) will be his last album.
While he planned to spend time with his children and family, the rapper admits he’s had many offers for his own TV and Radio shows
“I’ve had several offers. I think, at the end of the day, I’ll end up in radio or TV doing something. Wherever it is I’ll be doing the best I can.” But he has no plans to turn his private life into a family reality TV show because he fears his girlfriend and kids won’t be able to handle the pressures of celebrity … I don’t wanna bring my family out into the world. Celebrity is hard and if you’ve got a weak stomach, you can’t handle it, man. It’ll break you down …
I’ll leave my family where they’re at, safe and far away from harm and all the bulls**t that this industry brings, and I’ll focus on myself and making as much money as I can so I can secure the future of my family forever.”
The Game’s upcoming album, L.A.X. is in stores August 26th 2008.
