‘The new age RUN DMC’

Fans of Run’s House would have seen the progession of a new Hip Hop Group, Team Blackout.

Now under the guidance of Rev Run, JoJo, Reggie and Zach hope to take the Hip Hop world by storm.

The infectious ‘Lights Down Low’ has been followed by ‘Billion Dollar Boyfriend’.

In their first interview with British media, Team Blackout speak to me about how they met, their style of music, the state of Hip Hop and what they can bring to Hip Hop.

As you will hear from the video, the trio are focused but also humble. Its refreshing to see three young men with that kind of focus.

Their debut album ‘Lights Out’ which features production from Rockwilder and Chris and Teeb will be released Aug 19th 2008 on Latchkey Records.
