Join The Hip Hop & Books Celebration On Aug 17th
Shadow Play Entertainment is pleased to announce the “Hiphop and Books Summer Celebration” in Jackson, Mississippi.
This will take place on Sunday, August 17, 2008 at the Battlefield Park from 4-6p.m. The public is invited out for free entertainment and free books to be given away by Conversations Book Club and its literary partners for attendees of all ages!
Performing during the event will be Jack Squad, Chamber, the Knock-Out Kings, Playa Connected, OndreaNicole and more! Hiphop and Books founder C. A. Webb will serve as host.
The Hiphop and Books coalition is a group of recording artists and book lovers who have joined forces to encourage reading and the importance of staying in school. This is a family-friendly concert, so there will be something for everyone.
