David Banner has created an adult animated series based on Mississippi.
The Crook’d Sipp, which is broadcasted on the Cartoon Network, see’s Banner as a resturant owner Virgil. It follows the fortunes of a family stuck in the 1800′s while living in present day Mississippi.
“There’s a lot of things that need to be talked about in our community. When you’re dealing with a lot of young black males, they’re angry, and if you can make people laugh and still get your point across, it’s more effective that way.”
