2008 has been a great year for the ‘Evil Genius’, otherwise known as DJ Green Lantern.

This year he has made history by producing the GTA 4 Soundtrack, he’s toured with Jay-Z and is currently on the road with Nas, released an album with Immortal Technique. He also presents a very successful show on Sirus Satellite.

Green now has his own music imprint and is set to release an Barack Obama mixtape with Russell Simmons & Kid Capri.

In this exclusive interview with The Hip Hop Chronicle, Green talks to me about his influnces, what’s it like touring with Nas. He also reveals details of the conversation between him, Jay & Nas for the Rock The Bells performance.

He also speaks on how he hooked up with Immortal Technique for ‘The 3rd World’ album, how the GTA 4 Soundtrack opportunity came about as well his own musical imprint.

He reveals whether he thinks the DJ is dead.
