The Hip Hop Chronicle was invited to a special B.O.B.O./Def Jam Conference call with Grammy winner and Hip Hop superstar Ludacris.

With over 250 outlets on the line, The Hip Hop Chronicle was the only international outlet to speak with the rapper. This was also the case with the Nas Conference Call

Luda who currently is putting the finishing touches to his 6th album ‘Theatre Of The Mind’, has also finished working on two films; ‘Max Payne’ & ‘Rock N Rolla’ (which is out in the UK).

The album is set to drop November 11th and boast guest features from The Game, T.I., Chris Brown, Lil Wayne as well as others.

Thanks to Ludacris for taking the time out to speak to us all.

The rapper confirmed that he is 3 songs away from completing the album. He said he already has a favourite, a track between him and The Game called ‘ Call Of The Homies’. There’s also a collaboration with Lil Wayne called ‘Last Of A Dying Breed’.

There’s also a track with Common & Spike Lee called ‘Do The Right Thing’.

Luda said he feels hungry than ever and dispelled any rumours that he was quitting rap.

He did however mention that a surpise is on the way but he cant reveal it yet. The album is set to be a banger, so make sure you cop it when it drops.

In the conference call, Ludacris spoke on working with T.I., his favourite track from the album, where does he go with this album after winning a Grammy for ’Release Therapy’, his upcoming film roles and whether his music has taken a backseat during his acting career.

The last call on the conference call was mine and I asked Ludacris on how it felt to be inducted in the Georgia Hall Of Fame. He’s the first rapper to be in the city’s Hall of Fame and he joins artists like Usher, Ray Charles, Gladys Knight, Isaac Hayes & L.A. Reid (all of whom have previously been inducted).
