BET Rap City Show Ends
After 21 years on being on televison, BET’s “Rap City” has ended.
The final episode was aired September 19th & a special finale program is being organised.
According to Lowkey on BET Sound Off Blog, Rap City will be replaced by a program called “The Deal” which will premiere on November 10th and will be hosted by DJ Diamond Kutz

“THE DEAL” no doubt plays the latest and great videos that include pop-up information, facts and quirky tidbits on the artist and/or the song itself. Hip-Hop aficionados stop by to chop it up with Memphitz and debut The Reel Deal Premiere, showcasing their latest video. The Booth remains as a classic staple in the show where skills are tested and rhymes are dropped on the mic by every artist that rolls through. Re-Versed takes a stab at remixing the hottest Hip-Hop beats with other rappers spitting their own exclusive fire over the track.
Lyrical pioneers, emerging and established artists all have an opportunity to tell the viewers what the deal really is. Line For Line partners artist with artist as they discuss the latest trends in the global brand known as Hip-Hop. Spit Ya Game is a celebration of the art of lyricism and the written word where emerging rhyme slayers have an opportunity to spit their own solo freestyle game.
Here’s The Deal is our viewer sound off where stress is released on anything related to the culture. Viewers will be encouraged to upload their very own content on all Hip-Hop related issues to a designated spot on BET.com, which will be later announced, and let their thoughts rip. You can even find Memphitz Look Of The Day on the site and he boldly flaunts his flavor at the end of every show.
