On a track that leaked on the internet, it seemed that Jay was taking shots at Fat Joe. ‘Now I’ma have to diss you Joe’. But it turns out the verse it like 7-8 years old.

Jay-z

The track is below

Uncle Murda ft Jay-Z – Untitled

Props to Mr. X

For some reason the internet went crazy thinking Jay was taking shots at Joey Crazy and DJ Khaled because he mentions how off beat Joe’s DJ is. But if the verse is 7-8 years old, it cant be about Khaled but the Miami DJ wasnt down with Terror Squad then. Even beyond that, Jay was a guest on Khaled’s show for the Obama concert.

There has been tensions between Joe and Jay in the past but not in the last few years. Thisis50 had sent me a blast of an exclusive Jay-Z diss track and then its played on Kay Slay’s show. Both 50 & Kay Slay have issues with Fat Joe. Is this just someone trying to cause a few problems between the two New York vets.

When listening to it, I thought it was old when Jay said he’s ‘Jay Guevera’, he was using that nickname after Blueprint 1 and if you remember its a nickname he had around the time of MTV Unplugged (he was wearing a Guevera tee).

Fat Joe

Anyway Just Blaze on his blog let the world know that Jay’s verse is 7 years old. It was made in the Blueprint 2 era. Someone must have got hold of it, put it together with Uncle Murda’s vocals.

Below is what Just Blaze had to say

So for some reason people think this “new” Jay/Uncle Murda thing is a Fat Joe Khaled dis. It’s not. really.. It’s also like 8000 years old and somehow dude got his hands on it and put a verse on it. Now that I recall, it’s Blueprint 2 era.. I was going to use this verse for the S.Carter Remix CD but we couldn’t get the Pro Tools in time. The illest Rap Nerd moment was Sadat coming back in and doign the hook for us.  Ahh the Good ‘Ol Days. Anyway I really have nothing to do with any of this, but it’s funny to see a  6 or 7 year old record  that I wtinessed being made come back as a “new dis record” Or maybe Jay was just psychic and new that Khaled would be big one day and and decided to set away a dis verse just in case.. 6 or 7 years in advance.

Uhh.. yeah

Don’t fall for the Okeydoke folks..

Yours Truly,

King Bongo Beat.

Someone trying to start some shit! lol
