Beyonce Makes $100K Donation To Ike Relief Fund
Beyonce Knowles has made a personal donation of $100,000 to the Gulf Coast Ike Relief Fund benefiting victims of Hurricane Ike in the Greater Houston area who’ve lost homes, property, and jobs.

At the request of Houston Mayor, Bill White, the Gulf Coast Ike Relief Fund was established.
It aims to help victims of Hurricane Ike in the counties of Galveston, Brazoria, Chambers, Fort Bend, Harris and Montgomery counties.
Beyonce is also organizing a fundraising benefit for Hurricane Ike Relief through the Survivor Foundation, a charity that is designed to help people who have been displaced or homeless, affected by disasters (natural or otherwise). It also provides assistance to children who suffer from Aids.

The Foundation was set up by Beyonce, Tina Knowles (her mother), Matthew Knowles (her father), Kelly Rowland and her sister Solange Knowles.
