Yesterday I premiered the exclusive interview with MTV’s Sway Calloway.

This past Thursday, Sway hosted a special MTV event.

‘A Night For Vets’: A MTV Concert For The BRAVE took place on Thursday night and was aired in the States on Friday. It will be repeated today and tommorow on MTV.

Its an event to help mobilize support for the Bill of Rights for American Veterans (BRAVE), a petition organized by MTV and several veterans’ organizations.

In the first part, Sway spoke on the special event he was hosting, what people could expect from it as well as speaking on Barack Obama & John McCain.

In the second part of this exclusive interview, Sway speaks to NYNyck about hooking up with Kanye West for the ‘Homecoming’ series. Sway reveals what it was like to hear the stories of the vetarans and explains the importance of education (he does drop some knowledge!)

In the final part of this exclusive interview, Sway speaks on how he got involved in MTV. He tells Nyck the cultural shock he had when he moved to New York.

Sway also reveals that he turned down MTV on a number of occasions before key advise from KRS-One made him take the job. He tells us his favourite albums of the year and why and he tells us why he sees comparisions between T.I. & Tupac.
