Tuesday night saw Kanye West preview his album ’808′s & Heartbreak’ to special guests and members of the press. The Hip Hop Chronicle was in attendance.
During the evening, Kanye took a Q&A session where he told the audience that he respected porn stars.
‘Porn stars [are the] real day heroes’
It was a statment that came from nowhere. Some of the audience were baffled, some silent while others laughed (including myself). ‘Ye openly admitted that he watched porn.
But according to Kanye ‘everyone likes to f*ck’, and porn stars are simply performing for those who are watching. Those from the adult film industry do not shy away from their role, they are proud of it. The Chicago rapper went on to say that people in society will watch it, enjoyed but see it as taboo. The point he was making was that his music was like that. People are telling him he cant do certain things musically but he’s proud of what he does, no matter how taboo it is.
