Yeah, got the album last night. It is A-MA-ZING!!! Talk about tapping into a mood; it reminds me of some Seal songs, just achingly full of emotion (though I was annoyed by the random screaming in the background of Pinnochio). but . I thought it would be a bit too weird, a bit too dark, too egotistical, too out-of-touch. Instead, I was surprised that I could put the disc on repeat and vibe out doing my own thing.

When I heard the CD was centered around the loss of his fiance and his mother, I feared that it would be too tragic. Quite the contrary. The production is simply "amazing"! Track 4, "Amazing," is a perfect example of the limitless creativity of Kanye's artistry. The Young Jeezy hook-up is a good match, and a ingenious play off of Jeezy's own track on The Recession, "I'm Amazin'". Unlike Jeezy's very egotistical, protect-my-turf, outdo-the-next-rapper spin on this concept, Kanye's "amazing"-ness is shown by the very setup of the song. He actually speaks less words than Jeezy, but the one's he does utter speak volumes. Then, the drumlines, the almost-too-long pause, and the animals screaming in the background bring home the feeling that Kanye's amazingness is a source of agony, pride, and infinite determination. Regardless of what Jeezy does on his own album, his outro capitalizes on the grittiness of being own top that Kanye is building up on this track. Simply amazin!

In any case, you can listen to the whole cd on myspace, so check it out for yourself. But I must say, it sounds a lot better in your car while driving the highways after dark or in your room as you take time out to catch the meaning of one of the many witty metaphors he employs craftily throughout the album.

To all those who thinks he's lost his mind, you could not be further from the truth. This is the product of a man touching the bottom of his heart. To 808s and Heartbreak.

No you do need to proof read this I'm sorry, simple mistakes like their/there, and saying 'lol'? This could have looked professional, you've gone to a fair bit of work it looks like but the spelling and grammar is awful, telling them to shut the fuck up.. proves something. I love Kanye but why does he have to use the techno vocoder voice instrument, he has an awesome unique voice, he doen't need that.

Garbage review. Learn to write.

Autotune definitely is not used to symbolize heartbreak. He used it for the more ethereal timbre it brings to his voice and because he has poor intonation.

"If you are a producer and a music lover, you are gonna understand why Kanye has arranged the track like this."
I guess that means your neither of those since you obviously have no idea what his motives were.

As I said before, this review is Garbage.

That is one of the most 'kiss ass" reviews I have ever read.

Is he listed as the writer for track 11, because it sounds like a rip-off of the Tears for Fears song -- Memories Fade?
