General Motors have confirmed that a 50 Cent-sponsered truck by 50 Cent has been scrapped because of the on-going financial crisis.
The Pontiac G8 was launched last year at the New York International Auto Show.
The vehicle was scheduled to hit stores in North American in 2010, but the bosses at GM have announced that the car has been taken off the production line due to the downturn in the global economy.
Jim Hopson, a rep for Pontiac said the cancellation was part of the company’s restructuring plan and long-term “vision for Pontiac”.
