Harlem rapper Jim Jones has be appointed the Vice President of Urban A&R at Koch Records.

The ‘Ballin’ rapper will be responsible for developing and signing new artists for the urban division of the independent label.

In a statement released to the press, Jones said 

“It feels good to know that the hard work has been recognized by the same people that have helped me get to this point in my career,” Jones said. “They recognize that I’m not only an artist but a person that can smell talent and be able to mold a superstar.”

Jones who is at Columbia Records was an artist at Koch. His previous albums ‘On My Way To Church, Harlem: Diary Of A Summer’ and ’Hustler’s P.O.M.E.’ were all released on Koch Records
