Jill Scott Pregnant
Music artist Jill Scott has revealed that she is expecting her first child with fiance Jon Roberts.
The singer found out she was expecting shortly before flying to Africa to film TV series ‘The No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency’, which Scott plays a lead role.
She told People.com
“The first trimester I spent in Botswana. That was one of the biggest challenges of my life. First trimester! You’re sick every morning. It was seven hours time difference, the heat, the bugs, the 14 hour days. My doctors gave me a clean bill of health and said you can do this (continue working), so I did it.”
The couple announced their engagement onstage on a concert last June.
