Yesterday I had the honour of sitting down with two legends of Hip Hop, Sadat X and D.I.T.C. member Diamond D.
In my opinion, these two artists have had a great impact in Hip Hop with what they have achieved with their crews and groups but also with the quality of music they have consistently put out.
In this interview I speak to Sadat X and Diamond D about how Hip Hop has changed, the impact of technology on production and creativity in Hip Hop. They also talk to me about staying relevant and the love they get from UK fans.
Sadat also gave The Hip Hop Chronicle UK an insight into what fans can expect from his latest album ‘Brand New Being’ which was released May 5th.
Also in the interview, Sadat reveals the details of his next two projects.
The end of July should see the release of Wild Cowboys 2, a follow up to his classic 1996 solo debut. The album will feature the likes of Pete Rock, Diamond D, Mos Def and many others.
In addition to that album, Sadat will be working on another album, which will be entirely produced by Diamond D.
