Yesterday The Hip Hop Chronicle UK & Love Soul TV caught up with Raekwon backstage in London.
The Chef talked to us about his new album, what’s its been like performing in the UK for the past 10 years and he also tells us how he pays homage to the rest of the Wu when he tours solo.
Rae mentioned that he could be venturing into movies and that he might want to get a house out in London.
On a personally level, it was humbling to be in the presence of an artist who has done so much in the game.
Rae’s show was awesome. He hit the stage around 2.50am and the venue was packed out. Rae rolled out the hits (Wu Tang Clan Aint Nuthin To F With, C.R.E.A.M., Criminology, Ice Cream, All So Simple) and the crowd sang them word for word.
The Wu Tang member also showed the UK ALOT of love, its refreshing to have someone of Rae’s standing to come out here and embrace us like that.
