On Monday, I had the chance to interview Raekwon during his stay in London. We knocked a 20 minute interview so I decided to send out the first part today and second part tommorow.

Raekwon

In the first part of the interview, Rae talks about why he put Criminology 2 as a buzz record.

The Chef tells me he’s in talks with people from Hollywood to do movies and revealed that he’s planning to drop a documentary to coincide with the release of the album.

We talk about lyrics in Hip Hop and the importance of it to an emcee like him.

He gives his main ingredients to being a dope emcee and having longevity

And to end the first part, Rae lists the people and albums that he feels people should study to learn more about Hip Hop.

In Part 2 (which will be dropping tommorow), The Chef talks to me about how he got Marley Marl on the project and how he always used to imagine being with the Juice Crew, RZA’s involvement in the project, the other Wu members and with all the material he has recorded, he is very open to releasing a OBFCL 3.
