Jay-Z is said to be close to securing two label deals.
Several reports suggest that Jay-Z is to inking a deal with Sony Music for distribution of his Roc Nation label.
The rumour is that Blueprint 3 will be released through Roc Nation and distributed through Sony Music, which is run by Rick Rubin (collaborater on “99 Problems”).
However yesterday, New York’s Daily News reported that Jay-Z is also in talks with Warner Music Group to launch Carter Music Group, which could see the God MC release his solo albums on Atlantic Records after the release of Blueprint 3.
There’s been no official word on whether either deal has been finalized.
