About an hour ago, I have the pleasure of speaking to Fabolous on a Def Jam Conference Call.
The rapper’s new album ‘Loso’s Way’ is out June 30th. Fabolous has recently talked about the album being more auto-biographical and being inspired by the classic Gangster movie ‘Carlito’s Way’ but I was interested in the Alchemist produced track called “Lullaby”.
I didn’t see the producer working with the Brooklyn rapper on this album but Fabolous explains they have been working together for a while.
Fabolous tells me that he and Alchemist began working together few years ago on a track that ended up being on Lil Wayne’s Carter III album.
He talks about the track “What It Look Like” that was leaked on the net. Loso says the leak didnt come from his camp.
Finally the emcee tells me why he picked the beat for Lullaby.
