Hip Hop Under Obama - Change We Can Believe In? (Event)
On Thursday, July 16, 2009, Shadow Play Entertainment, Conversations Book Club and the Hip Hop and Books Literacy Campaign proud presents the town-hall style meeting “HIP HOP UNDER OBAMA: Change We Can Believe In?”


This will take place at the Margaret Walker Alexander Library in Jackson,MS (across from Westland Plaza) beginning at 5:30p.m.
“The discussion will cover how the Hip Hop Community has reacted to the election of Obama through its music, the way it addresses issues affecting them as well as in its outlook for the future,” says Cyrus A. Webb,33, President of the Hip Hop and Books Literacy Campaign.
