The King of Pop Michael Jackson has died.

The musical icon passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest.

Its a sad day for music, Michael influenced and continues to influence music artists.

Despite what people say about his personal life, he was aquitted of all charges.

His music transcended countries, religions and cultures. Like Hip Hop can bring people together, Michael Jackson also did that with his music.

In Hip Hop we talk about “The Greatest of All Time”. There’s only one G.O.A.T. in music and that’s MJ. Whether it be for his singing ability’s,  his album sales (750million sold) or for being a great performer. Michael set the bar high no only for himself but for others to follow.

My thoughts are with his family and his three children.

While the mainstream media concentrate on his trials or his appearance, let us all focus on his music and celebrate a musical genius.

The King of Pop was a HUGE influence on the music I grew up listening to as a kid and watching him perform live was an honour, its something I will never forget.
