  • Feb : 1 : 2012 - [Video]: DJ Sarah Love Exclusive Interview

Earlier this afternoon I had the chance to speak to Mr. Next Selection aka Ryan Leslie.

He was visiting London to perform at Carnival and the Sean Paul album release party.

In this interview I speak to Ryan about his new album entitled “Transition” and certain tracks on the album.

The artist also tells me how he visualises tracks. He reveals he makes all the arrangement in his head including melodies and then lays it down. Is he the Jay-Z of R&B??? lol

I also ask him about the album differs from the last and Ryan reveals that his own staff thought his was making music for the sake of it, which he took great offence too.

He also breaks down very eloquently why labels havent embraced the internet unlike artists like himself.

And finally Ryan tells me his favourite part of the creative process.
