Yesterday I dropped my UK artists to watch for in 2010.
Honestly I tried to keep it to a select few (which I’m sure you understand is hard in itself) but from the many, emails, tweets and a couple of comments on the site, I’ve decided to release the names of the other artists that were on my list under honorable mentions.
This list isn’t definitive and in no particular order
Ramson Bandbonez
(I thought long and hard over this one. I need to interview this dude.)
Genesis Elijah
(Has a new album coming out in 2010 that I am glad to see him back doing his thing.)
Micall Parkinson
(Micall Parkinson’s album is one I will be checking for in 2010. I’ve seen him freestyle and I saw him tear down the DMC Champs with Jehst earlier this year.)
Pyro Barz
(Been doing his thing for a minute. 2010 should see him ruffle some feathers with his rhymes)
Phoenix Da IceFire
(Dropped a nice project in Baptism Under Fire, met him recently – good dude)
Sonnyjim
(Along with Ramson, I thought long and hard about this one. An artist I really respect but haven’t met yet.)
Since yesterday’s post, I’ve recieved a number of artists that are now on my radar and I will do my best to feature any dope content from them.
No disrespect to any artists that I have left out. I apologise and will do all I can to educate myself on your music. I have my email on the site so feel free to send through music.
I am here simply to support the culture.
