Mariah Carey has confirmed that she is pregnant.
After months of spectulation, the singer went on the Today show for a pre-taped interview and said,
“Well, we’re here in New York; yes, we are pregnant,”
The singer also wanted to remain cautious about the pregnancy because she suffered a miscarriage a couple of years ago.
“Actually, it was it was difficult. It really was,” she said. “[When I had the miscarriage,] it was really sad. We had really to absorb this and take it in.”
Husband Nick Cannon also joined Carey for the interview saying, “It’s absolutely emotional, but for so many reasons. The greatest gift on earth is a child.”
