UK rapper Smiler is set to team up with Babyshambles singer Pete Doherty for a new track.
After meeting at a studio in South London, Smiler was invited by Pete and his band to accompany them to NME’s weekender in Camber Sands, where they decided to work together and Pete agree to feature on a track from Smiler’s album, due to be released early next year.
On the collaboration, Smiler said,
“Pete’s a really cool guy, he wanted to work with me before he even heard anything I’d done. He knows his music and he’s not bound by genre.”
It has been a great year for Smiler and long may it continue.
