Tru Life has been sentenced to eight years in prison.
The rapper pleaded guilty in court for an incident that left one man dead.
According to XXLMag, the former Roc-La-Familia artist was originally charged with one count of murder in the second degree, one count of attempted murder in the the second degree, two counts gang assault in the first degree and one account of assault in the first degree.
In 2009, Tru Life and his brother were arrested for the murder of Christopher Guerrero who was stabbed in the stomach following a fight in a Mahattan club.
