Last week I was fortunate to attend the G-Shock East Sessions. The night signalled the launch of G-Shock teaming up with skate brand DGK and streetwear brand, Alife.
G-Shock and DGK have teamed up to create a brand new watch, the GX56DGK-1 (Price £150.00). The piece comes complete with a reverse purple LCD, features a new triple density, triple layer structure for peak performing shock resistance. Two layers of hard urethane protect against external shock, while an inner third layer of soft urethane expands and contracts as pressure is applied to absorb impact on the inside.
G-Shock also teamed up with Alife to produce a limited edition timepiece, the G5500AL-1 (Price £110.00), which has a self-charging feature.
It was a rammed event with artists like Bashy, Rewd Adams, Gfrsh all performing. I caught up with Gfrsh after his performance to talk about his plans for 2011.
