Rick Ross was arrested for drug possession in Louisiana on Friday night. Police were called to Ross’ hotel room where a strong odor of marijuana was detected. When police came to the room, they saw a gram of the drug in plain view. Ross was released on misdemeanor summons. TMZ

Drake is set to receive an award for his songwriting talents. The Canadian star will be awarded the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame Hal David Starlight Award at the 42nd Annual Induction and Awards Dinner in June. Past winners of the award include John Legend and Alicia Keys.
