Bad Meaning Good (1987 UK Hip Hop Documentary)

I stumbled upon this on youtube and thought I’d share this with you.

I’ve heard people talk to me about this documentary and how dope it was to see a Hip Hop documentary on the BBC back in ’87.

Respect to Tim Westwood who made the documentary and conducted the interviews.

Bead Meaning Good focuses on the 1987 Hip Hop Scene in London in the year.

It has spotlights on artists like Run DMC, the Cookie Crew, Wee Papa Girls and London Posse. There’s also a focus on the DJ’s, breakers and beatboxers.

UK heads, look out for a young Trevor Nelson who also makes a cameo.
