Earlier today, I caught up with Jeremih at the Universal building in London.

The singer/songwriter landed only hours before, had been doing interviews since he got off the plane.

In this interview, Jeremih talks to me how his journey into music, family talent shows at his home and what people can expect from his self-titled debut “Jeremih”.

I also speak to Jeremih about “Birthday Sex” single. Jeremih reveals the one R&B chick that he would like to have “Birthday Sex” with.

The singer also reveals that he didnt want to be a singer and wanted to have a career as a songwriter.

Jeremih also explains the reasons why he signed with L.A. Reid & Def Jam.

Finally, just for the UK, the singer drops an exclusive freestyle.

Recently the wonderful and very talented Keri Hilson was in London supporting Ne-Yo. I managed to catch up with her backstage.

We speak about her new album “In A Perfect World”, she clears up rumours that shes a lesbian, describes a typical studio session with Timberland & Polow Da Don.

She also reveals that the video for “Everything, Everyday, Everywhere” has been shot

I ask Keri who she would “knock down” out of Kanye and Ne-Yo and she explains why Ne-Yo would be cuddly.

And finally Keri gives her professional opinion on Drake.

Keri was a real sweetheart during the interview and I wish her all the best. Not only is she making dope tracks but shes also a very humble person.

“Killing The Dream” - The Dream

I caught up with The Dream during his recent visit to London.

First up, when I met Dream, i said “welcome to my city”. He then saw what I was wearing, which was a “RUN LDN” tee (thanks to WearYourCity.com). Soon as he saw the tee, he goes “I want one of those”.

So if you see The Dream rocking a “RUN LDN” t-shirt, you’ll know who hooked him up! lol

Anyway….

In the first part of the interview, I speak to Mr. Radio Killer about his second album “Love vs. Money”, which is available to purchase now. It has had rave reviews in the States and it seems The Dream is coming into his own as an artist.

Also in the first part, The Dream explains how the racy Vibe photoshoot with Christina came about and their relationship.

During the 20 minute interview, The Dream called Christina his “wife” and “his fiancee”. Having noticed this, I picked Dream up on it and asked him to clarify whether he was married or not.

In the second part of the interview, I ask The Dream to give his “professional” opinion on Drake. He calls the Toronto native “refreshing”.

The R&B singer then spoke on his next album “Love King”, which is to be his last.

Watch KiD CuDi take me for a stroll through the press room and to his fans at the Wireless Festival.

Before we began the interview, CuDi has seen the t-shirt I was wearing and bugged out. He had one of his peoples take a picture of him pointing at my tee.

I then started talking to Cudi about his performance, he told me he wanted to really stage dive and it was at that point I just let the camera roll.

He just wanted to go for a walk. I’d never done anything like this before and I really enjoyed myself. As we made our way out of the press room, some of Cudi’s fans went crazy!!!!

We then talked about his new album, which is being mixed as we speak and Cudi also introduces his DJ.

At last year’s Wireless Festival, I had the chance to meet Tinie Tempah. I was impressed by his energy not to mention his music.

A year on and Tinie has released a mixtape, set up his own blog and has worked top artists like Chipmunk, Jay Sean and Omarion.

In this interview, I speak to Tinie about his first album entitled “Discovery”, he gives me his view on music on the radio, he explains what he plans to achieve with his album, unity among UK artists and what he has learnt in the last year.

I had no idea that Mark Ronson would turn up at the Wireless Festival this year. He rocked the main stage last year (which was dope). I managed to get a couple of words with the producer who is very busy.

I spoke to Mark about Wale’s new album and how that’s coming along. Mark is also busy working on Daniel Merriweather’s album including his own album.

You can expect to hear Mark Ronson on Lethal Bizzle’s upcoming album too!

At the Wireless Festival yesterday I had a chance to speak to Ironik.

He’s an artist who has been doing his thing in the last year and a half and its great to see him get his shine in the UK music industry.

In this brief chat, I speak to Ironik about his track with Elton John and revealed that Elton called him personally a few weeks after the track had been done.

Ironik also talks about his work with the Princes Trust here in the UK.

Earlier this afternoon I had the pleasure of interviewing one of the rising stars in R&B, Melanie Fiona.

This has been one interview that I have been looking forward to for a while. I first saw Melanie at her showcase in New York back in February. I was amazed at the way she took to the stage and seeing her perform a few songs, she turned me into a fan instantly.

In the first part of the interview I speak to the singer about what she loves about the UK, why Canadian artists dont get the shine they deserve. what her album is going to bring to the table, making timeless Music and why the music doesnt have enough risk takers.

In the second part of the interview, she speaks to me about the auto-tune and whether she feels its killing the art of singing. We talk about Drake and Melanie reveals that she and Drake were in a group together called “The Renaissance”.

On the group with Drake, Melanie said

“This is one of the small things that nobody knows, Drake and myself, a producer he works and tours with and another artist from Toronto, we used to gig together, we were part of a group together”

“It was just our own thing, where four artists/musicians got together…gigs two nights a week, every week in Toronto in this local little lounge, just to make a couple of bucks during the week but we loved it”
