I’m not really sure where to start, therefore I’ll keep this short and sweet.
After a fabolous four years, I have decided to quit blogging on Rap. Having created a credible brand and outlet on the culture, I feel it is the right time to move on from The Hip Hop Chronicle.
There have been a couple of factors that have contributed to this decision but ultimately I need a new challenge.
I have obtained a unique understanding of the urban industry and an insight into the world of blogging.
Now I am adept at conducting interviews, press days, radio promotion and adept at building a social media presence. I have armed myself with the tools to move into the next chapter of my career.
I really hope to be part of the music industry in some capacity but effective immediately, I am disconnecting myself from The Hip Hop Chronicle.
At this stage, the website will remain online for archival purposes and if the writers want to use it as a “writer’s playground”, they are most welcome.
Thank you for Hip Hop for allowing me a small table in the game. I always wanted to make a valuable contribution to the culture because I love Hip Hop.
This was not an easy decision because it has been a part of my life for the last four years. I have neglected friends, relationships and fundementally sacrificed a lot. I think it is time to repair those relationships and become “normal” again as opposed to an indivdual I am in the warped world of hip hop blogging.
I am going to drop out of the matrix for a while so if you try to contact me, chances are that you won’t get hold of me.
If you have anything to say on this matter, feel free to share your opinions on the youtube video below.
Lastly, Thank you to everyone and anyone across the world that has supported me, my videos and of course, Hip Hop.
