Jay did it for his culture, and in true showmanship style. The Brooklyn King bought out his wife Beyonce to perform her hits Diva, and later Crazy in Love before they both closed out the show with Young Forever (I actually watched the live stream, Beyonce’s entrance was major and pretty fitting for some reason). Last night marked the 8th and final show in Jays historic concert run at the new Barclays center (I don’t think it’s a coincidence he did 8, remember ’8th wonder’ of the world from Izzo ? was almost what we call now the Blueprint).
The Center is the new home to the newly migrated and named Brooklyn Nets. Hov will also be releasing an 8 track ‘optic’ EP on October 9th via iTunes (it’s currently only available for US itunes). The EP will include 8 songs and 8 videos from his concert series at Barclays. So look out for Live in Brooklyn this week.
Back to the topic, so as Jay said last night, ‘He had to let BK, touch the stage in BK’, It’s only right…right ?
