It looks like Lil Wayne will soon be taking a break from music after admitting he’s “bored” of rapping.
In a recent interview the ‘Tha Carter IV’ star revealed he doesn’t want his fans to grow tired of his music he explained: “I think I deserve that. I think fans deserve a little-to-no Wayne. I’ve been everywhere. I’ve been out on everybody’s song. I’m still on everybody’s song”
Lil Wayne also added: “My artists are doing awesome; I believe the fans deserve some peace from me, so I’ll be on my skateboard in the meantime. Being me, I always feel like I ain’t done nothing yet, so I’m always looking for the next thing to do. It does get pretty boring when it comes to just the rapping and all that type of stuff. I’ve been doing it since I was eight and I’m about to be 30 in September.”
The rapper has suggested previously that he would retire altogether from music when he’s 35. However is set to release an album on love songs in the next few months entitled ‘Devol.’ Alongside this he is creating a documentary on his time in prison called ‘Gone till November’ set to be out November 28th.
