On his own, Sumit has interviewed the cream of the crop in Rap music.

His first face to face interview was Jazzie B (OBE) of Soul 2 Soul. His rapid rise then saw him put in front of Ice Cube for his first video interview. That content made its way to 50 Cent who publicly commented on the interview in one of his vlogs.

This was followed by a trip to The Wireless Festival where Sumit saw a young Tinie Tempah and predicted that he was a star in the making. It was written in the stars.

Soon after that, the Rap journalist spoke to the legendary Def Jam Records co-founder, Russell Simmons.

But that was just the first few months of The Hip Hop Chronicle UK. Since then, Sumit has conducted over 200 interviews in just 3 years including Nas, Kanye West, Ludacris, Steve Rifkind, Birdman, Wyclef, Naughty By Nature, Kid Cudi, Raekwon, Estelle, Lupe Fiasco, Just Blaze, Alchemist, Skepta, Chipmunk, Wretch 32, Chuck D, Taio Cruz, B.o.B., Melanie Fiona, Method Man, Keri Hilson, Jay Sean, Tinchy Stryder, Dizzee Rascal, Amerie, Mark Ronson, Ryan Leslie, DJ Premier, Cypress Hill, Big Boi, Rick Ross, Jadakiss, Fabolous, Pete Rock and many many more.

On average, the views for the interviews range from 7k-10k on youtube.
