Fresh Off Signing a deal with Universal Republic, touring with Florence + the Machine, and starting up his own “the fall” tour, Information has surfaced that The Weeknd (Real name Abel Tesfaye) will be releasing his debut album “The Trilogy”, both digitally and on CD through XO/Universal Republic/Island Records. The Album will feature re-mixed and remastered versions of songs off his past releases “House of Balloons”, “Thursday” and “Echoes of Silence”. The album will also feature 3 new tracks (tentatively named as “Twenty Eight”, “Valerie” and “Till Dawn”) making it a staggering 30 tracks in total.
Although details of the remastering and remixing process are still on the hush, we assume that the eclectic singer/producer will bring a new spin on his past works which has got him plenty love from his peers in the music industry, critics and fans alike. The official first single off “Trilogy” will be one of his most popular songs “Wicked Games” which will be out on Itunes on the same day the full album is released.
