Earlier this week, Hip Hop lost yet another artist. UK rapper Derek Boland suffered a heart attack and passed away on the 16th Novemeber. He started in the game as a DJ, rocking on then pirate station Kiss FM. One of his first singles was “Rock The Beat”, which he co-produced. Liverpool FC are Britain’s most successful football/soccer club. 18 league titles, 5 European Cups, 7 FA Cups and 3 Uefa Cups. This particular track ‘Anfield Rap’ was recorded in 1988 and was written by midfielder John Barnes (the first guy you see in the video). This video had it all, fresh clothes, graffti, rappin, chains. (I have this on vinyl!!!)
