Eminem will fly out over 200 unemployed auto-workers to Hollywood to fill the audience on “Jimmy Kimmel Live”.

The auto workers, many of whom live and work in the Detroit area and are affected by the auto industry crisis, will come to Los Angeles to enjoy a rare talk and musical performance by Eminem. The following week, each of the chosen autoworkers, along with a guest, will also be exclusively invited to an Eminem concert in Detroit to show support for the community and demonstrate the resiliency of the city.

E-Will is a young producer who was born in East Detroit but now lives in Illnois, Chicago.

He found his insipiration for music at a young age. He’s still is young (he’s in High School) but now has the confidence to produce and rap. Already he has his fan base in Chicago and he loves performing.

50 Cent sat down with Tim Kash (shout out to the UK-er) to talk about Eminem and dismissed Em is overweight.

There had been pictures and reports that Slim had got fat, something 50 says isnt true.

“Em is in shape right now. He looks good. I seen him in Detroit. He’s gonna look real good when you see him return … He’s in shape right now.”

“The last time I seen him we played basketball together … He had a knee injury, so we chilled for a little bit.”

2 years ago, Big Proof was murdered in Detroit following an altercation in a club.

Born October 2nd 1973 DeShaun Dupree Holton was part of D-12.

He was a larger than life character and well respected within the hip-hop community. He forged a close relationship with Eminem. In 1999, Proof was mentioned in the legendary ‘The Source’s Unsigned Hype‘ column.

He was loved and Hip Hop wont forget the influence and character of Proof.

‘Holy Hip-Hop’, just like The D.O.C. said, a ‘portrait of a masterpiece’!

Alexander Melamid, a famed Russian artist has created a series of paintings depiciting hip-hop artists.

‘Holy Hip-Hop’ is a exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Detroit.

Its aim is to spark discussion of the global impact of hip-hop and how the cluture influences ideas about wealth and power. 

The acting director of the museum Marsha Miro said 

“It’s a chance to open the door to the hip-hop community, bring them into the museum as an audience and to reach quite broadly into the world of young people and begin dialogue about the whole idea of hip-hop music”

Miro went on to say that there’s a connection between the wealth and influence of kings of the past and today’s hip-hop stars, who are seen as royalty in urban areas.

“They’re very important conceptual paintings dealing with the whole idea of hip-hop royalty”

62-year old painter Melamid, learned the hip-hop world through his son Dan, a music video director who worked with 50 Cent on ‘The Massacre’.

Among those painted are rappers 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, Kanye West, Common, Lil Jon and Reverend Run, Def Jam co-founder Russell Simmons and clothing designer Marc Ecko.

For alot of the portraits Melamid tooks photographs of his subjects and painted them later.

But he did get 50 Cent to sit for his portrait.

The style Melamid wanted to portray was to illustrate royalty and noblemen and to achieve this, he relied on the oil-on-canvas method and Old Master style used many hundreds of years ago.

He says he wants Jay-Z for his next painting 

“If I could get my hands on Jay-Z, I’m all over it”

Eminem and Royce 5′9 have resolved their differences.

What got them together was the Eminem’s protege Cashis.

Cashis was seen on the internet talking reckless about Royce.

 his oldest. “The Cashis thing was like a blessing … That [situation] is what got me and Em [back] together. That’s why I didn’t really [address Cashis' comments]. He was just talking, not knowing who he talking about. I wasn’t gonna move [on him] until I found out what Em’s thoughts were [on the situation]. We done been through too much.”

Royce went on to say that he has no problem with Cashis.

“My thoughts on Cashis is I don’t have no problem with him ... I think he felt he was doing good. He felt like he was ridin’ for Em. But I’m just glad it didn’t get to [be beef]. So if I see Cashis, I’ll show him nothing but love because Em vouched for him. He told me that Cashis said he was sorry, and I can’t really say nothing after that.”

Royce has said that repairing the friendship is important

“I didn’t even really wanna tell nobody [yet]. That was kinda like a secret thing. I don’t really know where it’s gonna go. Right now we’re just really focusing on repairing the friendship. That’s the most important thing to me.”

Royce even disclosed what he and Slim spoke about in their first conversation in years.

“We just been talking about intangible shit like movies, our favorite movies, just realizing how much shit we always had in common. That first conversation we had we talked for like two hours, just about everything. We did a lot of catching up.”

This resolved beef has fueled rumours that the two may appear on the DJ Premier produced track Slim has. Royce maintains that they havent done anything creative yet but we hope they do.

This is great news for Hip-Hop.
