(This is something I should have done a long time ago).
Every week I’ll be posting up a link to for you to listen back to some of the hottest UK DJ’s on UK radio (all of these are personally favourites of mine).
Every one of these DJ’s are artists that I respect and have alot of love for, so be sure to show support!
The first link features the Explosive One, DJ Semtex. His latest show was a couple of days back. Dizzee Rascal speaks to Semtex (congrats on the album Dizzee) and there’s a tribute to Roc Raida.

DJ Kayper On The Decks

Now I havent done a “UK Pressure” segment for a while. In the past I have focused on rappers or emcee’s but this time I want to focus on a very talented deejay called DJ Kayper (I have to interview her soon!)
Kayper is a female DJ from London. She began spinning at bars since the age of 15 and has played at the some of hottest spots not only in the UK (Ministry) but also in New York (S.O.B.’s, Knitting Factory, Lotus). She also gets her promoting game on with ’Ebonics’ in Cambridge.
Jazzy Jeff called her “the best female DJ he has ever seen”. Now that’s a big cosign!
Be sure to check out Kayper’s BBC Radio show called “The Hype Show”, which is on Friday’s between 10pm-1am.
