I and many others were mistaken when it was suggested that Rick Ross had the number one album on the Billboard charts yesterday. The official numbers have been released and it appears that Eminem is still number one and going strong after five weeks at the top. Ross sold 176,000 units but Shady sold 187,000.
Rick Ross has gone straight to the top of the Billboard Charts with his new album Teflon Don, outgunning second place Eminem by about 1,000 units. According to HitsDailyDouble, Teflon Don sold 188,816 in its first week sales, while Slim Shady’s Recovery sold 187,968. Eminem had been number 1 four weeks in a row but that has now come to an end. Congrats to Rozay and the whole team.
