I caught up with the legend that is Elliott Wilson at the Rap Radar Offices In New York City.
As I said to Elliott right off the bat, I am a fan first. I have been picking up his magazines for years and he’s a fantastic writer.
This is one of the perks of running a site like mine, you get to meet people you respect and learn more about Hip Hop.

In the second part of the interview, I speak to Elliott about responsible journalism in light of the DJ Vlad/Joe Budden/Ransom situation.

So after interviewing Tanya Morgan, F.T. said to me he wanted to spit another rhyme. So after the interview, be sure to check out another off the dome freestyle.
While I was New York last week, I went to Brooklyn to visit the PNC Radio studio’s. The homie A.King asked me to pass through. I didnt have an idea what was gonna go down, I just rolled through.
I got to the studio’s the Brooklyn, I was mad tired because stupidly, I walked (yes walked!) from W.4th Street all the way into Brooklyn. I got a bit lost and I thought I could get the train from certain stations. Turns out I was a dummy, walked over the Bridge and when I got to Brooklyn, had some real nice people help me find the right way to PNC. That took me about 45 minutes altogether.
So I walk in, say what’s up to A.King. It turns out there was a extremely intelligent group of people in the room talking about how we can take Hip Hop to another level.
After the introductions, I realised that Shine from CDR was in attendance, F.T. as was Tanya Morgan (big fan of their work and have featured them on the site).
So after the discussion, I said what’s to Tanya Morgan and asked them if they didnt mind being interviewed. They were cool.
So we went outside to the deck and just simply wacked an interview.

I soon realised, this would be a good opportunity to bring some unity. I asked Tanya Morgan if they had some bars in them. They said yes, I asked F.T., the same question, he said yes and so I put them together.
So here is an off-the-dome freestyle with a fantastic backdrop of the Brooklyn Bridge.
