Monday night in New York City was crazy. There was the mixtape show for Wale, a Ski Beatz/Peter Rosenberg event at Santos and a secret T.I. show at Capitale. Tip brought guests like Camron, Vado, Maino, Swizz Beatz, Mary J Blige, Keri Hilson and B.o.B. Kevin Liles, Busta Rhymes, Fabolous, Miguel were also in the building. Some nice news reached me today that Hip Hop legend Big Daddy Kane will be performing two shows in London this coming October. Londoners mark your diaries for Monday 25th and Tuesday 26th The venue is looking like Jazz Cafe in Camden but waiting on that to be confirmed. Questlove of the mighty Roots crew will be performing a one off DJ set this coming September at Doctor’s Orders. On Saturday 11th September at East Village, Questo will perform a three hour set. First 200 tickets are priced at £8 and are then £10 in advance. Spin Doctor, Chris P Cuts, Mr Thing will also be performing sets on the night. You can buy tickets here

  Next Wednesday, July 28, DJBooth.net will be presenting a star-studded hip-hop showcase at SoHo venue S.O.B.’s.
