24 year-old Londoner, BUG, is a keyboard player, songwriter and producer. Under the moniker, BUG, he creates an experimental, instrumentally grounded style of music with a compositional approach. Atlanta producer Shawty Redd has been charged with murder after turning himself in to authorities during the early morning hours of Friday 1st January.
Redd (real name, Demetrius Stewart) was at his home with a number of people when an argument between Redd and another man turned physical.
It is thought Redd then retrieved a firearm and shot and killed the man. He then turned himself into Henry County Police Department.
He claims the shooting was in self-defense.

Earlier this week, Hip Hop lost yet another artist. UK rapper Derek Boland suffered a heart attack and passed away on the 16th Novemeber.
He started in the game as a DJ, rocking on then pirate station Kiss FM.
One of his first singles was “Rock The Beat”, which he co-produced.
In 1998 he reached number 16 in the UK pop charts with “Bad Young Brother”. He also produced for acts like the Cookie Crew and he wrote one track that I grew up listening to again and again in my house, “Anfield Rap”.
Hip Hop has lost a pioneer and my thoughts are with his friends and family.
Rockstar Games have teamed up with producer Timberland to launch a music application for the PSP called Beaterator.
The application will allow users to use “thousands of loops and sounds”, which have been created by Timberland and the game developer.
On the game, Rockstar founder Sam Houser said,
“Beaterator is a very natural progression for us. Music is incredibly important to us here at Rockstar, and we believe that there are many people out there who share that passion and will be excited about creating music of their own.”
Timbaland added,
“Beaterator is like taking my music studio and turning it into a suite of tools anyone can use. We can’t wait to hear the beats people make and share with the world.”
The title will be launched September 29th Stateside and October 2nd here in the UK.
