Santigold has revealed that she is working with Pharrell Williams for her second studio album.
The singer told Nylon that recording for the album will get underway in August but Pharrell has already had some ideas.
“We went in the studio and [Williams] was like, ‘I’ll just play the buckets. It was like, ‘Boom, ah, buh-doom, ah!’”.
Beyonce is planning to work with Adele when she comes to the UK next month.
According to Digital Spy, Beyonce will spend time in the studio with the Grammy-Award winning artist when Bey’s ‘I Am…’ world tour comes to the UK.
An unamed source said,
“Beyoncé loves Adele’s voice and her music, and Adele is really excited - she grew up listening to Destiny’s Child and they are still her favourite group. It’s her dream to record with Beyoncé.”
Beyonce’s ‘I Am…’ tour hits the UK in May & June.

Usher is teaming up with the United Nations to fight malaria in Africa.
The R&B star along with the U.N. have launched the ‘Nothing But Nets’ campaign, which encourages younger people to be more pro-active and make a difference in global issues.
The initiative aims to raise money to prevent children in Africa from contracting malaria by providing more mosquito nets. Its a project that Usher feels is very important.
“I am proud to be a part of an exciting partnership with the United Nations Foundation and its Nothing But Nets campaign. This initiative sends an important message: youth, regardless of their backgrounds, can make a difference in this world by taking action through service to save lives. Anyone can make a difference. All it takes is $10 to send a net and save a life.”
Usher follows in the footsteps of Jay-Z who also worked with the United Nations for ‘The Water For Life’ campaign.
Beyonce has revealed that to contact her sister, she has to communicate via twitter.
According to the superstar, her sister Solange is obessed with Twitter but cannot get her on the telephone. Instead she has to read Solange’s “tweets” along with the rest of the world.
Beyonce says,
“It’s hard to get in touch with her because all she does is Twitter. I have to call my cousin to Twitter her, although now she’s joined the campaign to try to get me on Twitter.”
Fans of Beyonce should be aware that she doesnt intend to join the site soon, in fact she has her own traditional method of communicating with family. “I pick up the phone”.

Beyonce will be getting animated as she lends her voice to children’s show WOW! WOW! WUBBZY!
The superstar will play the character ‘Shine’, who is the star of The Wubb Girlz band, on the animated series aimed at pre-school kids.
Beyonce is exicting to be part of the project.
“I’m so happy to be a part of ‘Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!’ because I’m finally able to impress my nephew. I can identify with Shine, having grown up in Destiny’s Child. The Wubb Girlz are all about unity (and) they sing cool harmonies.”
The Sing a Song tune The Wubb Girlz perform on the show will be available as a download on iTunes and other digital outlets from 21st April.
Kelly Rowland made a fan’s dream come true after a visit to a New York hospital.
The R&B star went to see leukaemia suffer Jasmina Anema (who turned 6 years old).
Anema, who’s only hope of survival is finding a bone marrow transplant, suffers from a rare form of the disease.
Rowland brought the youngster gifts and cupcakes and was so moved by the experience that she has signed up to the national bone marrow registry.
Rowland said,
“The best part was decorating the cupcakes with her.”
Beyonce has been confirmed to sing at Barack Obama’s Inauguration Ball.
The R&B star has been chosen to sing Etta James’ classic “At Last” for Barack and Michelle’s first dance as a President and First lady.
President-Elect Barack Obama will be inagurated on Tuesday 20th January.
